Who can register to participate in the Refer & Earn Programme?

The Refer & Earn Programme is open to current students, alumni of Nile University or its subsidiaries, education agents, influencers, members of the public, and partners. Nile University staff are not eligible to participate. 

How do I get paid?

Rewards will be paid via the payment method communicated by Nile Online upon confirmation of the reward criteria being met. Rewards for degree will be paid at the end of the academic year (August), rewards for Executive Development Programmes will be paid out after completion of the first semester, while rewards for professional short courses will be paid after course completion.

Can I refer more than one person?

Yes, you can refer as many people as you like. However, each referred student can only be linked to one referrer. Previous Nile University or Nile Online alumni will not be considered a referred student if they apply for a future programme. In the event of multiple referrals of the same learner, the reward will go to the referrer whose code was used first. Please note that referrers will not receive additional rewards if the same referral later enrols in another Nile Online programme.

What if my referral forgets to apply my code during the application process?

Unfortunately, referrals must be completed using the official referral process (applying the code during the application process). If the referral is not submitted through the approved format, it will not be tracked or eligible for the reward.

Does the Refer & Earn Programme apply to Nile University on-campus programmes?

No. The Refer & Earn Programme applies exclusively to Nile Online programmes, including undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, executive development programmes, and professional short courses delivered hybrid/online.

What are the requirements for a referral to qualify as successful?

A referral is considered successful when the referred student: 

  • Applies, makes tuition payment, and enrols within the next three intakes of the relevant programme.  
  • Has not started an application with Nile University or Nile Online in the last 12 months. 
  • Pays at least one semester fee for degree programmes or Executive Development Programmes, or the full course fee for short courses. 
  • The referred student completes the first academic year (degree programmes), completes the first semester (Executive Development Programmes), or completes their course (short courses).
